Getting close to the election ... what's everyone doing?

I've just signed up with Obama/Biden and I'm going to take my happy ass to the HQ this weekend. I'm taking off the 3rd to the 5th off in Novemeber so I can work the day before, day of and recovering the day after ... with a big SMILE on m' face.

I wish they had a HQ closer to my 'hood.

2. Getting together with a couple women in the area today to plan house parties,

meet and greets, and postcard parties. There are literally thousands of new voters in this district (lots of new homes).

We too have an office a long way away but there's ways to compensate!

7. I am really in a good place to help this political season.

My kids are raised, I work part time.
I volunteer between 10 and 12 hours a week.
My local Obama office is about 1/2 mile from my house.
Right now I am on my way to see Joe Biden at an event in Media, PA.

Every weekend from the beginning of September on to election will be canvassing for Obama in my area. This summer conducted four GOTV trainings in the area. Will be part of the GOTV structure on election day.

Pick something you are good at (for me canvassing and organizing canvassers) and stick with it till election.
