2. he didn't look too happy during public events
He is literally being forced into marriage. At 17. I wonder what they did/said to his family to make him agree to marry the daughter.

Now that is a mystery to be solved.

8. You've heard of "shotgun" weddings, right?
This is a "strategic missile defense system" wedding!

If Levi didn't strike me a such a slack-jawed knuckle dragging mook I might feel sorry for him.

9. Wow, with hundreds of thousands of High School Seniors...
eagerly looking forward to graduation and then excited about attending the College or University of their choice..
...we have a woman and her family who place the children's education lower in priority than going
out to eat at the local KFC.

Honestly people..what kind of Education President..nee Vice-President do you think Ms. Palin will make.

12. If he's got a brain in addition to a dick . . .
He'll skedaddle ASAP. The marriage is doomed and he's only 17 (18?), fer crissake. He needs to grow up a lot first, not two years and two children from now when he absolutely *must* get away from the Palin family.

And as far as responsibility for his actions and responsibility to the unborn child, that's been totally compromised by the heavy-handed intervention by the dragon lady. It's not like he's been allowed to make responsible decisions. He's been told what to do.

In a sane family -- even a sane anti-choice family -- he'd have earned a child support obligation and maybe a participation-in-the-kid's-life obligation, but they wouldn't be trying to cram this marriage down his throat.

Ever heard of adoption, you twits? "Family values" indeed -- values that guarantee at least three blighted lives.

14. i see only disaster ahead for this union
I can envision life in a double wide with a couple of screaming kids. alcoholism, spousal abuse, extra martial affairs (by both parties), intimidation by the parents of the bride, and ultimately, becoming the subjects of both a country song and a springer episode.

15. What mother in her right mind would want her daughter to marry this guy?
So she's pregnant. No one wants their teen daughter to be an unwed mother, but forcing her to marry a guy who is not the slightest bit ready to be a husband or a father is not going to help the situation.

Hey Palin ... shit happens! Deal with it without creating even more shit for your daughter!

18. Here is the link
Track Palin, 19, is being deployed this week to Iraq with the Army, after separating his shoulder and abruptly giving up on a hockey career last year. Mr. Johnston, 18, who is about to become a father, has dropped out of Wasilla High School and also quit hockey.

“He just lost his way,” said Dan Johnston, who is a second cousin to Mr. Johnston and a hockey parent himself.

I kinda feel sorry for him, and I doubt he has a clue what he's gotten himself into. My guess is there will be a 'wedding' and then ol' Levi will be taken straight down to the recruiters office and shipped out overseas.

31. Levi's parents are probably fine with everything because they
know at least he'll have a roof over his head. Levi, on the other hand was squirming like my 15 year old does when my friends come over and tell him how cute he is....that squirm that says get me the hell out of here! That kid didn't want to be there. He will be head of FEMA if they are elected so get some people registered and make sure you vote!
