"Biden? Biden? Anyone remember Joe Biden?"
snips:

In case the American voting population may have forgotten, there is another vice presidential nominee out there. His name is Joe Biden.

He’s gearing up for his October 2 debate with the “moose-shooter”

Biden gave a little preview of his strategy at a fundraiser last night in Chicago.

“I know what she’s going to try to do,” told the gathering of supporters. “She’s going to try to make it as personal as she can. She’s going to take a lot of straight lefts and jabs at me, she’s going to try to get me to respond, she’s going to try to get me to respond in a personal way. That’s not my style. I’m not going to do it.”

His style? Not small ball. Not the stuff currently circulating around the blogs and news sites like the “Bridge to Nowhere” or her story of listing the Alaska state plane on Ebay, he said. He’s going large.

“What I care about is what in God’s name she’s going to do – along with John McCain – about the thousands of people who don’t have health care,” he said.

Further, according to the Chicago Sun-Times, he’s going to ask her about “the superhighway of terror between Pakistan and Afghanistan where my helicopter was forced down…John McCain wants to know where Bin Laden and the gates of Hell are? I can tell him where. That’s where Al Qaeda is. That’s where Bin Laden is. It’s not in the country of Iraq.”

He also cautioned the group about reading too much into recent polls which show an exodus of women leaving the Obama-Biden ticket to the McCain-Palin team.

“The press is exaggerating how white women are all of a sudden for Sarah Palin,” Biden said. “We still have more women voting for Barack Obama than for John McCain.”

2. It was posted here that there will be CNN specials on both Joe and Palin,
the difference being that Joe sat down and answered questions, and of course, no questions for Palin.

My take is that even without her answering questions, people who watch both will be much more favorably impressed by Joe. He inspires confidence. You can not say that about her.

8. Me, too!!
And I am anxious to see Biden debate Palin.

Biden has an approach that many politicians haven't mastered. He stays calm, stays focused and I think he will do very well up against Palin.

He can be chivalrous without being sexist. He can be firm without appearing angered.

9. I remember Biden. Biden is great! It is interesting that the media
have not spent more time covering him. That's a shame. The corporate MSM is too busy repeating Palin's broken record, robotic speeches.

Oh well, I learned years ago not to rely on the MSM.

Go Biden.

13. It's really starting to piss me off. He has been giving speeches to standing room only crowds
daily...and not one word.

Except of course to take him complimenting Hillary out of context!

11. k&r. I love you Joe.
I saw a clip last night... of Biden talking about his wife. An interview I'd never seen. He said his new wife saved his life... and when from loving him to being in love in 30 seconds. He said : I asked her... how can you marry me knowing I loved (my first wife) so much. And she said: Thats exactly the reason I CAN marry you.

He welled up. I cried.

Im in love.

12. And there is no doubt that he loves his wife - from calling her
drop dead gorgeous...to saying she's the only one that leaves him speechless ---

It warms me heart to know that both Obama and Biden love their wives that much.
So unlike what we have been witnessing between the current Pres and Laura.

15. I wholeheartedly agree.
And not from a political standpoint, but as a human being. I LOVE that about both of these men.

Its not only above * and Laura...

Its above Clinton and Clinton. Two men that respect and revere their wives. It brings tears to my eyes.

I LOVE OBAMA / BIDEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

16. Hey you fiesty Pink fish!!!
I haven't forgotten about Joe... I was actually happy he has been circling... ominously. We BOTH know he is going to have pieces of Secessionist Sara Phalin in his stool on Oct 3. I am not sweating it.

I lost all reservation last week when Jon Stewart said on The Daily show... "barracuda Sara, meet Joey the Shark."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA i almost cannot wait.

umm I realize you are a BIG BIG BIG fan of Joe... I do caution to not give away any of Joes game plan. as It will be much more amusing to watch her wish she was out in the woods facing a Grizzly bear than on that stage Oct 2.

MUAH love ya!!!
Fro.

Posters are too excited about being able to type the word 'bitch' to notice there's another nominee.
