How the hell do we get the nation to focus back on KEY Issues?
Should we resort to a Shocker AD ..something that will change the topic of conversation?

Something like ...

Hungry Child Crying for food .. Tearful mom tells that Daddy's job had been shipped overseas ... (VOICE OVER .. Do you want a Republican in the White House? THEY DONT CARE)

KATRINA SUPERDOME IMAGES ... (VOICE OVER .. Do you want a Republican in the White House? THEY REALLY DONT CARE)

Something that will force people to talk about issues rather than the Designer Glasses of Sarah Palin..

1. Some great ideas there... because when it comes to Repukes....
ISSUES DON"T MATTER. Rove knows that an emotional sound bite will trump an issue any day of the week. They convinced the Nascar Dads that Bush was the kind of guy you wanted to "..have-a-beer-with". Today.. the Nascar dads are out of work and their homes are in foreclosure. Rove knows that he can get people to vote against their own best interest.. as long as he can get an emotional zinger in the headlines. That's why he will play the gender card to the max. I have said it (sarcastically) before.... the Dems need to target their sound bites at the Jerry Springer or Maury Povich Show.. with maybe a little American Idol thrown in for good luck. It's the Jay Leno Theory... most voters can't find Iraq on a map.. or tell you how many people are in the Senate.

3. I think that sound bite Obama made about the lipstick
on a pig was excellent. If not for that lipstick on a pig line yesterday nobody would have heard anything about his campaign other than he was in Virginia. That line got his whole sound bite played calling McCain out for being nothing more than the same as Bush. Then this morning he got the same jab in a second time responding to all outrage from the Republicans. It takes some stupid shit like that to get the MSM's attention, the Republicant's are masterful with that tactic.

5. I think we need 12 more separate threads on the "pig" comment or maybe 100 more on how Palin
isn't qualified

6. YES!
For starters, we need an ad highlighting how McCain wants to RAISE TAXES on millions of middle class families by taxing health insurance benefits as income.

A lot of so-called low information voters support McCain because they erroneously believe that Obama will raise their taxes, when actually the reverse is true. Obama needs to set the record straight.
