If Charlie Gibson were to channel Tim Russert this week....

He'd ask Sarah Palin:

"Where do you stand on the 'bridge to nowhere'?"

She would lie, of course, and say she was against it.

Then Russert would show the clip from her Alaska Governor's debate in 2006 when she was for it.

Then she would say something like, "My opinion evolved."

Then Russert would show that her state KEPT the 'bridge to nowhere' money anyway.

Then she would say he was attacking her unfairly or some other weak response to change the subject.





People on DU used to blast Russert.... but he would not be afraid to take Ms. Palin to task.

Fredie and fannie, and the market system. THen, foreign affaris. What more than Russia's geographical relationship to Alaska do you know?

2. Russert was pretty useless. Even by Al Franken's standards who would

make fun of him for being so "gullible".
