I guess it is only fair, they had all republicans commenting at the Dem convention, so they might as well have all Republicans at the Repub convention.

7. George Mitchell was on CNN

and they had the black women spokesperson (forget her name)...I think the world of George, but a Howard Dean, he's not. He's about as low key as you can get. Helluva Senate Majority Leader/statesman but this kind of politics is not his strong suit.

Overall, it was a Republican critique of the Republican convention.

8. Mario Cuomo got about two minutes, if that, on CNN

9. Cuomo has been on Larry King...

Great as usual.

They just finished a funny bit. Cuomo compared Bush's admin to H Hoover's.

They cut to that Mo Rocca character and he pointed out that Hoover was a highly educated man, a true internationalist, spoke Chinese, ran the US relief foundation, etc. Very accomplished and any comparison to Bush is really unfair to Hoover.

as I've been more or less boycotting CNN lately. Cuomo WAS good! He said that Kerry HAS been out there saying his plans!

I wish they'ld put Cuomo on MSNBC!
