Local news this morning must have got the memo re palin
On local CBS affiliate, mentioning the Freddie/Fannie bailout, something to the effect of: "Obama supports the buyout for some 25 billion dollars, Sarah Palin, McCains selection for VP, said they would make it smaller AND smarter"

So, Palin isn't talking, but she is being quoted with authority.

This is getting deep. The Palin acceptability campaign is a multi-level attack

1. This is starting to look like some 1950s married couple...
...where the husband does all the talking for himself and his wife. "Oh Sarah thinks that Freddie & Fannie will be much better off after the bailout, don't you dear? And she believes that we should support Georgia and condemn Russia, isn't that so, dear? And she thinks that Obama lacks experience, isn't that what we agreed at breakfast, dear?"

I wonder if they can swing it so she goes through an entire election and subsequent Vice Presidency without actually publicly uttering a single thought of her own.

3. Would be great if they do a campaign stop at a restaurant

Would we get to see McCain order her food? "The lady would like a mooseburger...." As Elaine Boosler once said in response to this "gentlemanly" tradition, "Sit, Lady, Sit!"

8. She's too busy being absolutely fabulous, dahling!
The look on her face is quintessential "upper class stoner." I doubt she's left drug-induced lala land once in the past twenty years. Maybe she and Pickles hang out together in the Twilight Zone.

6. Nor where-- pre-commecial blurb with no follow through
Must be the fax machine talking-- no indication of where ms palin was when she passed this executive judgement "smaller and smarter" but it is sent out there on an early AM sarah-less talk show day. Prime propagandist tillage

10. Would that be "smaller AND smarter" as in bailing like Andy did from the bank he ran into the ground
Real smart... Unfortunately, responsible people can't bail.

Just like, I'm sure that Obama's fix would be a responsible long term fix and not lipstick on a pig.
