Watching MSNBC: Keith says Palin was condescending.
He really seems almost speechless. I wonder what he's thinking. Tweety's now saying that her "speech" was "appealing."

1. Keith said it! OMG! Mentioned Tracy Flick and the "Election" movie.
Thank goodness, at least Keith gets this freak show.

Surely he must have meant "appalling"?

3. It was nasty, filled with lies and absolutely no mention of her record

4. Notice how Keith seems to be treading lightly?
It's like he's trying to carefully choose his words.

7. I absolutely noticed that. I can't get a feel for him tonight.
Almost like they've ordered him to tone it down.

5. From the 3 sentences that I heard, that's what I thought too: condescending

6. Her speech is extremely good. She is natural.
That isn't a good thing, but it is true.

12. I dont' think it's true
I thought she was condescending as well, and didn't bring much energy or charisma to the stage, though she did warm up a bit as the speech went on.

9. I thought it was very condescening as well
I think people who saw Barack's speech and are liking him but tuning in to this to make their decision will be turned off by that. I thought it was unseemly.

10. Keith earlier did a hilarious circular comment...
Something like "people who like this kind of speech will like this speech".

11. The kind of condescending
small town America likes. I don't know how the suburbs will like it. She's just a waste of wind as far as I can see.

That speech will motivate the base of the Repukes. The gloves have now come off, and Obama/Biden better have a great response to that, and not be afraid to be at least a little condecending to both of them after that.
