Imagine an Obama rep saying something this petulant about media coverage
and getting away with it! Imagine any Democrat saying something this petty. They'd be eaten alive. But this comes from the McCain people:

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122041068725593803.html?mod=2_1567_leftbox
McCain spokesman Maria Comella said the campaign canceled the interview because of "a relentless refusal by certain on-air reporters to come to terms with John McCain's selection of Alaska's sitting governor as our party's nominee for vice president." Ms. Comella said the decision wasn't a reflection on Mr. King or his "sterling journalistic reputation."

Campbell Brown was not refusing to come to terms with McCain's pathetic decision. She was struggling to come to terms with it (for once). That's her job.

He should have his pasty old ass kicked from here to Juneau for this. He may be a war hero, but when you get right down to it, he's a wienie.

1. The GOP always gets nasty when anyone questions them
That is how they beat the media down to comply with their commands

2. Just following the Bush playbook...when you fuck up, refuse to answer to it.
:puke:

I thought he was supposed to be so "courageous". What a load of BS.

3. They are SO on the defensive now
The McCain team is freaking out on anyone who challenges Palin's so-claimed experience.
And in doing so, they are HIGHLIGHTING the fact that this person is NOT qualified at all.
Hilarious stuff. I hope the press has the spine to push back and KEEP ASKING QUESTIONS !!!!!!!

5. That's right and the challenges need to keep coming.
Whether it be from the media, boards like this or the blogosphere, McCain needs to be called on the carpet for this. Then let 'em all suffer meltdown.

4. come to terms with it?
Obama and his surrogates had to justify his selection of Biden over Clinton for two weeks, and we know much more about Biden than we do about this unknown entity from Alaska...
