1. Come on, what's news?
Obama gives great speech?

Or McCain Walks Into Wall?

Well, both are kind of expected, aren't they? :D

3. Yes, dammit!!
Obama gave a speech that was a masterpiece, and all we get is this female veep crap. We need to focus on the positive side.

4. Yes, and it's making me crazy.
Last night was an historic speech, and both the MSM and some of the 'concerned' people on DU are focused on the threat of Palin as VP. I'm stuck at the PC today, and I wish the 'hide thread' function was available.

5. You walk out of a great movie and immediately see a train wreck.

The movie may have been great, but who can't talk about the train wreck for a while?

6. Nothing's going to change the fact of that speech and the 38 million
who watched it. Wasn't that 12 million more than saw bushco's speech?

This vp pick is kinda sad is all. It's a cheap trick because that's all they have. And if it gets more people fired up to work for Obama/Biden, then it's all good.

Besides, it's kinda fun in a perverse way, seeing what trick the repubs will trot out next. And watching pundits talk aabout this with a striaght face, well, that should be worth the price of admission.

This is right up there with bushco / harriet miers selection is all I'm saying.
