4. He is an idiot to announce it tomorrow.
He is going to get only half the coverage he COULD have gotten had he waited a little bit more.

gives Obama less than one full news cycle to bask in the convention glow, beore the talk shifts back to McCains et al.

Also- to those who think the election is over because of a convention speech.

GROW THE FUCK UP.

9. That depends on what the new polls look like
If Obama does get a huge bounce then the news cycle leading up to the RNC will be filled with grim coverage for the Republicans.

8. This is true.
I can't believe I'm watching a ticket so amazing they've made the VP pick of the other guy practically irrelevant.

Wow. I'm just blown away.

10. Nope, even they know it no longer matters...the ball was hit out of the ball park
and they cannot ignore it for something so trivial as mcbushs side kick

12. It's probably way far from over
but Barack went out there and bloodied their nose good for them.

Though, there is a magic credibility line and I think it may have been reached.

17. Oh it's over as far as who has won, I agree the fighting will get more intense but it will be for
naught on their part.they are done finally and I could not be happier for our country and the world at large.

14. It doesn't matter
When John McCain stands up and wheezes at Obama at the debates, it will end.

19. The buzz at work is: "He can't make up his mind, or what?"
Very negative comments all around about McCane, and this is a VERY conservative environment (aviation).
