Big GOP whores stole their anti-Denver DNC phrase from famous Platte river quote.
Edited on Wed Aug-27-08 04:10 PM by Democrats_win
The Platte river, which runs through Denver, is said to be a "mile wide and an inch deep." The GOP whore-house in Denver is plastered with posters containing the phrase "a mile high and an inch deep."

Does the GOP even understand dimensions? There's length, width and depth. So how can something be a mile high and an inch deep?

"Humorist Artemus Ward said the Platte would be a considerable river if it were turned on edge."

Maybe the pigs of the GOP low-lifes and their cronies engorged from government money would be seen as walking tall if THEY were turned on edge.

1. Well, it could be a mile high vertically.. and the inch deep could refer to
the horizontal depth. Like a wall? *puzzled*
