Fuck it...I'm not watching the Convention anymore...

...don't get me wrong, I think the event itself is going just fine, but it's the media spin that non-political people are paying attention to. After all, the cable networks are showing 30% convention, 70% punditry--so, incredibly, it's the talking heads on TV that decide if this convention was successful and unified or divisive and a failure.

I love Obama, I respect Hillary, and I'm a proud Dem, but as far as this convention goes, and its impact on Obama's campaign--I may as well ignore the speeches and wait for to the so-called experts to make up the country's mind for it.

It stinks. ;(

Don't get me wrong though, I understand your frustration. I really don't think there are that many folks who decide how to vote based on the convention.

I suppose I could be wrong, but who can listen to the pundit drivel for all that long? They are mostly FOS. Real politicos already know who they are voting for, they
are probably watching C-Span or PBS.
