Is there anyone pegged to give a real good anti-Bush speech?
The guy is only the least popular president ever. He's also the worst president in American history. It seems to me the single point that unites independents, moderate rethugs and liberals is the fact they all hate Bush and for very sound reasons. I would love for some speaker to really frame why Bush sucked. Last night we heard about the mistake of the war and lack of health care but we haven't heard the why? Like you know Bush trying to "fix" health care by limiting your ability to sue your doctor. How did that work out? Anyone get health care due that change in the law? Really what could be a more cathartic moment than some American to actually tell the truth about the Bush administration in prime time. Sure a little pro-Hillary, pro-Obama talk helps a few primary voters feel better, but a little anti-Bush truth telling makes 80 % of America feel better. In the end dislike of Bush is the one thing a vast majority of Americans have in common.

3. But we need to krazy glue McSame to Chimpy,
and the first step is to explain clearly why Bush sucks, has sucked, and always will suck.
Then we show how McSame adores him.

Why do you think McSame is trying SO HARD to distance himself from Chimpy?

11. It's not over when Bush leaves
The debt he left, the foreign wars he left, the fail economy he left, the bad and many time unconstitutional laws he signed, the signing statements he wrote, the horrible partisan hacks he placed into civil servant jobs are going to be continuing to hurt Americans for years to come... we've only started to feel the pain of this administration.

10. I hope so
Someone needs to remind people what we all have in common is horrible abuse at the hands of terrible political policy.

12. Monday night was not the night for that stuff
Michelle has been hit by the media and she needed to come out strong and show that she is one of us (which we knew she was but we needed to get that across to the rest of the world).

trust me, there will be plenty of McSame bashing

18. Hope Warner will trash Republican economics. Hillary and Joe will also slam Bush well.
Edited on Tue Aug-26-08 12:39 PM by Overseas
Obama will also criticize Bush-McCain very clearly but in a gentlemanly manner-- the truth about the results of Bush-Cheney policies will seem like a slam.

Edit to add:
Hope Mark Warner talks about the business opportunities in alternative energy and conservation technologies and how we need rapid action because other countries have taken the lead during these eight years stolen from Al Gore and John Kerry.

19. :(
Looks like day is going to set with only Rachael Maddow remembering that whole Bush presidency thing was bad, real bad. Yeah we are going to change, but how about one good solid speech on oh by the way this is the living hell that is a republican presidency.
