he's mouthing the conventional supposed "wisdom" that was gained from the Vietnam War: Don't go into a war without the intention of blasting the enemy to hell.

He wants to use his presidency as closure on Viet Nam. That where the "I know how to win a war" comes from. He's still PO'd that we lost in Viet Nam.

He scares the sh*t out of me.

5. There is a scary story there--local politicos have whispered about it for years.
His desire for revenge for Viet Nam has been a dirty little not-so-well-kept whisper here for years.

What he's been rumored to have said about it is said to have literally scared even some Republican powerful here and they seem to have repeatedly been able to quah the story.

That they can't be completely debunked even with AZ's ultra-powerful Republicna machine indicates to me that there is something very sinister there.
