Does anyone here think the McCain camp had a couple attack ads banked
for the possibility of Hillary Clinton being chosen as VP?

1. Of course they did. Too bad they can't
come up with any issues to talk about. That's the lamest aspect of all this negative campaigning.

3. So far all I've seen is that the McCaim camp has wasted a lot of money
and the brainless vapid blabbers have just replayed the ads and salivated.

Whatever you do, folks, don't do any thinking....

2. I'm sure they had several ads against all possible choices, and I'm
positive the media knows that! They're simply not going to say it!

7. I won't give the media that much credit.
And the McCain camp thinks we're so stupid that putting women out there to bemoan the fact that Obama didn't choose Clinton will get women to denounce Obama and go over to McCain.....I guess b/c he's such a champion of women's rights and equal rights?? Yeah....okay

as predictable as the McCain campaign has been.

5. They were going to attack for how REVEALING the pick was no matter what
Media narratives for other candidates:

Clinton: "This pick REVEALS that Senator Obama believes that this thing is slipping away from him and his only chance for victory is to depend on someone hellbent to stab him in the back."

Sebelius: "This pick REVEALS that Senator Obama must bitterly despise Senator Clinton to have the audacity to pick another women. This pick REVEALS that Senator Obama is inexperienced and naive to pick someone with such little national security experience."

Bayh: "This pick REVEALS that Senator Obama feels that he has no chance to win without somehow flipping Indiana. This pick REVEALS that Senator Obama knows that he's way in over his head and needs a seasoned politician like Evan Bayh to help boost his confidence."

Kaine: "This pick REVEALS that Senator Obama feels that he has no chance to win without somehow flipping Virginia. This pick REVEALS that Senator Obama is inexperienced and naive to pick someone with such little national security experience."

6. Yes and yes.
They had ads ready to go for whomever Obama picked.

Ironically, this article was written by McCain's campaign manager from 2000 regarding the Rove smears:

9. "A McSame campaign insider, speaking on the condidtion of anonymity, confirms that

three ads were made addressing Mrs. Clinton as a vice presidential nominee. She added that to the best of her knowledge, the ads still exist and the McCain camp is watching YouTube carefully for leaks."

I heard that on TV while channel surfing; the report was gone when I turned back so I didn't catch the channel--likely MSNBC, since it's the only one I watch.

But the media is going to embrace the current ad w/out thinking that any anti-Clinton ads were made x(
