The best the Freepers have got. (Hint: not very good.)
Checking out the reaction to Biden as VP in Freeperland, I find them feigning great happiness at the choice, putting on a brave face, I guess. The best part was their attempts at hilarious name-calling. "Joe Rogaine" was one I saw. Biden isn't particularly bald, so that doesn't make much sense, nor does it even rhyme. An attempt to do the Spider-Man theme as "Biden-Man" came next, but fell a little flat when their limited vocabularies forced them to rhyme "Biden" with "Biden." And the metre was the clumsiest I've seen since I last read Rod McKuen.

I'm forced to conclude that these people just aren't very S-M-R-T.

16. Terrible impersonation of a FweePee.
1. Cat is apparently clean.

2. Cat is not in his/her mother's basement.

3. Cat does not have pants around ankles.

4. Cat evinces no sign of spending hours a day, attempting auto-fellatio.

3. The 2 senator ticket may offer the slime machine some fuel. Once the voting records are scoured
there will be some...

Both Obama and Biden voted to.....(insert slime here)......

and some..

Not one second of executive experience between them.

I love the pick, but 2 senators on one ticket will present certain challenges that having a Governor in one of the slots would have avoided.

4. "Biden's
votes on credit industry legislation have been counter to Obama's platform. Hopefully the man will have a change of heart on issues that actually do impact working families."

That's the one on the top of my mind, and the one I expect to be the toughest to explain. Hopefully they tackle it straight on.

6. I think it's going to be moot...
..because McDole voted for it too. So if he doesn't want to shine the spotlight on himself, it won't be raised much if at all.

If so they need to hammer him in a way that shoes no contradiction.

9. True, But he was representing his consituents, in Delaware, then
As VP, he will be helping Obama implement his policies and will be representing the whole country, not just Delaware. The CC companies will no longer be the majority of his constituents, so I'm not concerned.

13. I thought John Fund was "Joe Rogaine"!
I went out to dinner with a bunch of friends, one of whom was a friend of Fund's ex-girlfriend, Morgan Pillsbury, who happened to be in town, and regaled us with tales of having to help Fund apply Rogaine to the growing bald spot on the top of his reptilian pate. Yecch!
