35. Yup same here. 10X better than anything on the big networks
We're also big fans of Dexter, Californication, and Weeds. Oh, and on HBO we like "Hard Knocks" the NFL training camp show. HAHA.

6. I have no life.
Ever since the primaries in 2000. I was still very naive and could not believe this country would elect somoneone like 'lil bush. December 11, 2000 devasted me. We'll never be the same.

12. I can't stop.
Edited on Sat Aug-23-08 12:54 PM by Imalittleteapot
I was up and down all night watching MSNBC and CNN, then did my C-Span fix at 6 am, an 8/07 interview of Biden by C-Span, then back to MSNBC. Now waiting for Springfield. This day is wasted - in a good way.

Started watching around 10 AM when CNN said it would be within the hour---the TV was off today from about 4:30 am to 8;30 when I slept and dreamed I was right there with Obama---crazy- crazy. Oh, what a life

22. Not me. I finally slept.
I stayed up too late today, but I think this is the first day of my workweek that I actually got 7 hours.

I woke up around 4 or 5 Thursday and Friday afternoon hoping the pick would have been announced.

Working night weekends can suck.

26. That's what I did!
First time I have ever done it, slept on my couch with the television on. I hope to never do that again, but this was definitely worth it.

I am crazy busy working on true work matters and have been out of touch with the news lately. I had my heart set on Biden being VP and was truly chagrined at the "I am not your guy" remark earlier this week. It wasn't too long though until attention returned to him and I thought it was simply too good to be true that Obama would pick him. It's an amazing duo.

I liked a couple of other people for the #2 spot, but I felt confident people like Richardson would be offered a good place in an Obama administration.

Overall, it is more than I can comprehend that after eight years of Bush*/Cheney, two people like Obama and Biden might be taking over in January. It's a dream come true, a dream that ends our eight-year nightmare.

I really cannot fathom how McCain can select anyone comparable to Biden to run as his, McCain's, second.

Sam
