14. Based on the fact...
...that he pushed this whole thing so close to the convention. He's not allowing the media to have a crack at it...so they can present themselves in their own way at the convention.

Had it been anyone else, he would have done it earlier in the week, like others usually do, and had a weeks new coverage.

34. I don't think that is it.
A day off in the bashing of MSM and Obama told them what he thought and told us, you are now in control of MSM.

Bingo!

15. Actually they would need to do just that.
Because we only need one President in the White House. Not three.

...that Obama needs Bill as much as he needs Hillary. He needs an attack dog.

19. Two Reasons It Isn't Her
1) First and foremost, she wasn't vetted.

2) With Election Day just 11 short weeks away, they're gonna have to spend the first 2 weeks (at least) rebuffing all the ads and soundbites Hillary's team produced during the primaries, then the following 2 weeks (at least) rehashing all the Clinton scandals, non-scandals, and ennui from Bill's time in office. After all that, they'll have little time to re-gain the momentum. They don't want McCain controlling the narrative for the better part of a month.

All it took was one McCain gaffe and Obama has controlled the message for two days. Hillary offers a treasure trove of such moments. It's too late. Not gonna happen.

28. Number
1) They have said repeatedly that Hillary was thoroughly vetted during the primaries.

2) That is all old news. Nobody's interested.

BTW...many of us remember Clinton, the twice elected democrat, as a president who brought us peace and prosperity. And since leaving office, he has been doing good all over the world. The kind of stuff you mentioned will only appeal to those who weren't going to vote for a democrat under any circumstances.
