According to conservative commentator and former presidential candidate Pat Buchanan, Sen. John McCain's chief foreign policy adviser Randy Scheunemann is a 'dual loyalist,' 'neocon warmonger' involved in activities that 'none dare call treason.'

Scheunemann's former employer, Orion Strategies, is a lobbying firm with strong ties to Mikheil Saakashvili's administration in Georgia.

Since Georgia attempted to retake South Ossetia by force, triggering a sharp, violent rebuke by Russian forces, Sen. McCain has been by far the most strident advocate of US support for the former Soviet state. And his top adviser, says Buchanan, may well be the next Henry Kissinger or Zbigniew Brzezinski.

"He is a dual loyalist, a foreign agent whose assignment is to get America committed to spilling the blood of her sons for client regimes who have made this moral mercenary a rich man," he wrote.

In his recent history, Scheunemann was a key member of the Project for a New American Century (PNAC), which lobbied President Clinton for war with Iraq for years before the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. He was also a signatory on a letter to President George W. Bush, just days after the terrorist attacks, demanding an invasion of Iraq and threatening political consequences if the president did not comply.

3. If true, this needs to be talked about, and talked about. But a bit complicated for lay person...

4. Buchanan fingers neocons, NOT Jews!

The frightening reality is that you are on to something-- NOT ideological but MERCENARY-- in the neocon character. They have a mission since their CIA funding as Cold War hacks from the left was made public and CIA cut them off: to serve the aerospace industry-- not to make rockets to the moon, but expensive war toys, keeping the defense budget at Cold War level. For this influence peddling they are duly rewarded ever since Sen. Jackson was on the take, through Richard Perle (who pushed us into Iraq War and is now making millions on Kirkuk oil.

What scares me most ids that the backlash will not be against the war profiteering neocons but against "the Jews" in general, especially when ties through Likud/Kadima to Israeli weapons industries. I am so disgusted with the neocons that I don't care what their fate. But the American Jews are a loyal patriotic people that are a pillar of American society. Just because they kept quiet out of fear of hurting Israel or intimidated by the neocon slander, "self-hating Jew," is no reason to associate them with the neocons. If I could be sure that the backlash Americans who lost children in this "war on terror" and Iraq would distinguish between Jews and neocons, I would focus on other issues. But I am afraid that there is a global effort by neocons to squelch freedom of speech all over the world by equating "anti-Likud" with "anti-Semitics." These former Leninist know only the Leninist "polarization" tactics they learned, now applying them on the right. These tactics can destroy a nation...that's what Lenin meant them to do!

Pat Buchanan has been equated with Hitler to scare a lot of Jews. Yet, I would say with certainty, most agree with him for the same patriotic reasons as him. However, the neocons have practiced the Leninist trick of "polarization," equating him with the Holocaust to scare many Jews,m despite their common realizations about what frauds are the neocons. Alas, chutzpah sometimes trumps truth....but not forever and I fear the consequences wrought by these reckless profiteers.
