Something I'd love to see: a veterans' march on Crawford
Since the media is marginalizing today's challenge to the Chimp from Max Cleland, Jim Rassman, and the Senate veterans, calling it merely "political theatre," here's another piece of political theatre I'd love to see: veterans for Kerry, including veterans who marched with him against the war and those standing with him now, standing vigil at the phony ranch *demanding* audience with the Bushboy.

I would love to see them tell him that he's smeared the United States armed forces by allowing a claim that medals are earned through fake stories to stand.

I would love to see them tell him that he's smeared their brothers by calling so many of them liars.

I would love to see them tell him that bad things DID happen in Vietnam, as we're finding they happened in Abu Ghraib, and in both cases people at the TOP need to take responsibility, which is what Kerry was saying.

How dare they draft that letter claiming Kerry "accused" anybody but the government at the highest levels.

I guess the Chimp's leaving the ranch soon, but I wish a band of brothers for Kerry would go after him wherever he goes next.

1. * can run but he can't hide
and he will be easy for the vets to find next week.

I think something like the fabled Bonus March is in order. And screw any barricades or thugs with walkie talkies waving loyalty oaths for the vets to sign.

4. That is a great idea

  1. Bush admin has said that Navy brass forged or knowingly approved fake medal citations. Was Admiral Zumwalt a patsy? How about all the other guys who were awarded medals? Is the Bush campaign saying a significant number of them were wrongly commended?

  2. Kerry never said all soldiers were war criminals, just that there was alarming eyewitness testimony that U.S. personnel did commit war crimes.

  3. Standing up for those who commit war crimes, or hiding the truth of their actions, is not only criminal but damaging to the reputations of those who didn't commit war crimes.

  4. A jerk who goes AWOL and then plays flyboy dress-up for the press has no business commenting on the exploits of those who actually served.

10. On point number one...
if the Navy medal citations are false, then it stands to reason that Bush's Honarable discharge must also be questioned...RIGHT???? HEHE!
