I think that someone or two on the Obama campaign, back in that Chicago office reads the blogs though...which would included DU of course. I believe that they note anything that appears to be a top news getting a lot of attention. Just like the McCain campaign does, and just like the Corporate media does. It would be suicide for them not to.

However, I don't believe that Obama takes his marching orders from Blogs; his blogs or others......per se.

In terms of "hey, this is what the netroots are talking about today?" Probably. If I were an Obama staffer and was told to keep tabs on the netroots (and write up executive summaries for the top brass), I'd check out DU and Kos, certainly.
