(Race to the White House). I've been so tired of the Olympics being on instead of their regular line-up, that this is refreshing (surprisingly). They're talking about tonight's Rick Warren event.

Man I can't stand Joe Watkins. The Rick Warren compassion forum event happens at 8pm EST which is 5pm pacific time. Obama will be on the first hour.

4. I turned it on for a second
But Joe Watkins was talking about how noble John McCain is for having adopted a daughter and never talking about it, so I turned it off. And I turned on Hardball for a second earlier and Pat Buchanan was screeching about Reverend Wright. So I turned that off, lol.

running the "family" ad during tonight's event.

which I assume is AFTER the event.

14. I think Andrea Mitchell is the worst pundit on MSNBC. Her style is so choppy, she turns pages
loudly while the person is answering a question, she doesn't usually follow up questions correctly, etc.

27. I agree. She's not clear in her questions, she stops and starts and
hesitates. And then she rarely follows up with a question that sounds like she even heard their first answer.

is really "reaching" by talking about the impact of Michael Phelps on the election. I know NBC has to promote the Olympics, but having this topic on RTWH is stupid.

26. They were discussing whether or not this would put the people in a positive mood
and therefore change the election somehow. I think the negative ads McCain is running in the middle of all this "positivity" should've been mentioned.

Just saying that if the Olympics puts people in a positive mood, that can only help us. And I agree....they should have brought up the negativity McInsane aired, but they NEVER bring up those things about him.

republican line no matter how ridiculous it sounds and how foolish he look. Being a black republican or community outcast is pretty lucrative these days. For a group that is so small they seem to have a lot of access to the corporate media.

23. I would put Harold Ford into that group too...
Even though he is a Democrat, he is real gun shy when it comes to many issues. And I think it's because he doesn't want to offend white voters in Tennessee (or elsewhere) if he were to decide to run again.
