Democratic Convention: Please tell me this is NOT the title of the topic for Wednesday.

On Wednesday at the convention, the topic is "Securing America’s Future - Tribute to Veterans, Active Duty Military & Military Families."

Does anyone notice what group is missing? Considering that this group has been very vocal over carrying a lot of the workload while not being treated the same as their active duty counterparts, if this is the name of the topic, the DNC needs to change that title real quick.

Does anyone know anyone at the DNC?

On edit: I should have said groups not group.

Please contact the DNC and make sure they change it. All I got was a voice mail and who knows if that will ever be listened to.

12. They are ONLY on active duty while they are deployed or on tour.

I can assure you that the thousands of Reservists and National Guard soldiers would not think that they were included in this title. It is a very touchy subject (the heads of the Guard and Reserves have even testified before Congress about the disparity in treatment between them and their active duty counterparts) and the title needs to be changed ASAP (if that is indeed the title).
