Did McCain 's Georgian Lobbyist Adviser Set This Whole Thing Up?
Could he and Sakkashavili (or whatever the hell his name is), and others surrounding the McCain camp go around the WH and get Sakka to make this strike? Sakka is on t.v. critizing the "west" for not doing enough, and trying to make McCain look prescient and like the point man on all of this. I don't know. Did McCain stick his fat dirty hands in the mix over there?

1. Well, it ain't no "coincidence".
Smells like Colombia brewing here......but Colombia was a flop, so they have to try harder.

3. Come'on
That's rather ... that belongs in the NoQuarter world, not in the real world. It's just ... silly, with all due respect, and in my humble opinion.

Moreover, this isn't going to play well for McCain - he's looking WAYYY too hawkish feeding right into the (accurate, again, imho) view that he's a war president who will keep us in war...S....and get us in more.

4. So you really don't believe McCain would do anything like that?
You don't think Repugnants would launch wars, lie about them, etc for oil, politics, and to use as a tool of fear?

I tend to believe they do.

5. No, I don't ......
...believe that "McCain would do [] that."

(I will describe my fellow Americans with respect, as much as I DISrespect some of their actions and as much as I DISagree with their views)

Do I believe that certain Republicans would start a war for oil? Yes. One did.

Do I believe that a Republican with the power to do it (i.e., a Republican president) would start a war as a "tool of fear" - no, I don't. I believe that multiple republicans have, consistently for ... what is it now, about 50+ years? ... USE fear as a tool -- in a variety of ways, including as a tool to garner support for a war they wish to wage.

Do I believe that a Republican President would lie about a war? Yes. One did.

Do I believe that all Republicans should be painted with the brush of Bush? No! No more so than all Democrats should be painted with the brush of Edwards ... or Lieberman.

And ... anticipating ... Do I believe that McCain is more like Bush in his policies than most? Yes. Scarily so.
