Napolitano would be a good VP choice
She's very popular here in AZ and I think choosing her as VP might take AZ away from McCain. I would love to see McCain lose AZ. Honestly, I really don't know anyone here in AZ that likes Mccain.

1. Isn't she unmarried? I think she would be a great choice but I think it would be
tough to select an unmarried running mate.

2. If Arizonans aren't bothered by it--and even conservativers here don't make an issue of it

--she'll do just fine.

But I want her to stay here; we desperately need her.

3. She won twice as a Democrat governor in a predominately Republican state
She's much better than anybody else we've ever had as governor!

4. I've been here a long time; I'd say Bruce Babbitt and Raul Castro have her beat--
but Janet's damn good too.

6. An Arizonan since 1958
Napolitano far surpases Bruce Babbit. She has pulled many a Republican and Independent into supporting her. They all know that she is honestly working for us all. She is a woman of integrity and those that have taken the time to know her, trust her. She would make an excellent VP, and Obama could be assured that he would have her full support and that she would give him her honest and full assessment.

8. She would be good but there is no Lt. Gov. and the Republican is next in line...
The Republican Secretary of State, Jan Brewer, is next in line of succession.

13. Brewer is a disaster and an embarrassment. We need Napolitano here;
she's our best hope for turning this into a blue state.

10. She'd be awesome but selfishly I don't want her to leave AZ.
I don't think she's in the running though - maybe for a different position in his administration, but not that one.

11. NO
If she is running that platform planning committee that did not even look at what we sent in. I found out one person controlled where our platform proposal went and it went to two people only. The platform draft committee never even saw it. ONE Woman controlled where it went. The Platform committee doesn't even get to do much more than vote on the pre-drafted platform.

No one was listening to us. We formed a national task force and sent in a comprehensive platform proposal with stories from many states on Elder Abuse and Financial Exploitation of the elderly. By the time I could get a list of addresses it was for platform committee members and only mailing addresses for the most part. It was too late to mail. I called and emailed numerous times. Nothing . Not one work about ending the abuse of our elderly.

12. Really ? You realize that then we get a conservative GOP Gov?
Jan Brewer is just waiting with baited breath for such a thing. Don't you know that she is next in line? She has already tried to step in an alter legislation when Janet travels! We already have enough trouble .Janet and her veto pen are the only thing that stand between us and disaster and you think that her being VP is a good idea? Wow. Not me, thank you very much.

15. She would be great,
She is very popular in Arizona; she does a great job and knows how to stand up to our disfunctional Republican legislators.
I'd hate to see her leave Arizona though we have ALOT of loony wingnuts in this state and we need a strong Dem Governor to keep them tamped down. She's pretty good at "wack-a-mole."
