So I finally saw the video of McCain at Sturgis. Does he realize he was being dissed?

When the bikers revved up their engines that was as good as telling McCain to fuck off.

1. I'm in almost complete ignorance of biker culture. Except a cop who's a Blue Angel
I thought they were trying to "cheer" by doing that.

5. Thanx - I wonder if Gramps knew that, or
if he could even hear the noise anyway.

6. He was flailing his arm in a circle, thinking it was good, and encouraging it.

Last summer I went to a protest march in Kennebunkport. There was a group of anti-protest bikers along the march route, and that's exactly what they were doing. It's like, "What? I can't hear you!" Definitely a diss and definitely deafening.

8. I'll have to take a deep breath and watch it again.
I heard the bikes, but really didn't focus on his reactions to the noise. This man is very out of touch with the People.

9. HA HA. So I guess the only way these jerks could show ANYONE respect would be to
shut the damn things off. And that's not very likely. What morons. They deserve each other: Thoughtless, loud, self-centered bikers and John McCain.

12. I really have difficulty in painting a whole group as 'jerks'.
lots of 'bikers' are middleclass regular folk that could be your good next door neighbor or your kids teacher and not the drunken pillaging assholes that bikers have been made out to be. totally unfair.

14. The group I was painting is the asshole group.
You know, the ones who have loud pipes and rev their engines to the annoyance and pain of everyone around them. The other motorcyclists, the ones with quiet machines - I wouldn't paint those folks.
