Story of McCain putting Obama on money getting traction
Well finally the story of McYucky putting Obama's picture on a 100 dollar bill in June may be getting some traction. It's posted over at Huffington post.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/08/03/mccain-mocked-idea-of-oba_n_116589.html

Also I read in comments over there that Donna Brazille brought it up on "This Week".

1. Ben "I swear, I'm the Politico's Democrat! I swear! Even though I sound like a Repub..." Smith
also blogged about it I believe. Good for Donna Brazille for knowing this and bringing it up in the public realm, I'm sure the others just ignored her when she dared mention it.

2. Didn't know about this. Dems MUST get the word out on this!
And here's McSHAME playing the victim. What a load of CRAP. Is McSHAME capable of anything resembling the truth?

3. I don't think so--I haven't heard about it being covered, except for
what you say about Brazile. I think someone needs to ask John McCain why he put Obama's face on currency for an attack ad. Someone needs to make him talk about his ad, explain it.

5. It was clearly an attempt to say, look how ridiculous this guy looks here--
look how out-of-place. And it's not just because they think he isn't worthy of the office on his qualifications, either. The running theme of the commercial is, who does this boy think he is?

6. Maybe his black daughter ought to ask him
...and then ask him if she was adopted for political purposes. If he cannot respect Obama then it says how much he respects his daughter. But then again, his family came under attack in 2000, he did nothing and ended up kissing the ring of the attacker. The man right then showed me he has no honor (not even stand up for his family) and it made me think the "stories" of him as POW just might be true.

7. He was offended that they called his daughter "black"--took great pains
to stress that she was from Bangladesh. There, that's better.

8. But you don't go out
and campaign for the election and re-election of the bastard and paw all over him if you truly stand up for what they pulled on his family. He's a do-anthing to get elected politician and has no honor.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/08/03/mccain-mocked-idea-of-oba_n_116589.html

Last night, the Jed Report had about 250 something diggs, and today, it has 850 something diggs.

Keep digging it.

This must get out.

I want to see eggs on the face of the unextraordinary Pundits.

15. All of it helps make a story more important in terms of where it ends up
on the pages of Huffington in this case.

The more buzz, the more prominently an article will be featured, the most likely the media will pay attention to it.

At some point a story may become too big for the corporate media to ignore.

That is our job as bloggers; to bring to the forefront those stories that we want some attention paid to.

14. I and others have been pushing this here at DU and
sending it to various "Friendly" bloggers.

Last night, after I realize that the Jed Report and Andrew Sullivan's daily dish had linked to this video, I actually sent the Jed Report link to Drudge.....something I have never ever done.
There is a "Tip" comment box on Drudge that doesn't ask for an email address or anything...so I just "did it".

:)

17. Someone from the Obama team should be out there saying
the reason Obama uses that phrase that he's not like other Presidents on the dollar bills is because McCain's camp put out that picture of Obama on the bill...it was a set-up from the beginning...
