If he says Obama is viewed as the more risker choice one more time I'm going to ask Rachel to kick his ass.

Is there anything wrong with Harold Ford's statement? And if so, why?

3. When Harold Ford starts every paragraph with, "I agree with Pat Buchanan. Pat has a good point."
Something is very, very wrong.

4. Here's what's wrong with it. He is reinforcing a negative against a member of his own party.

5. I'll take a crack at that...
because the term "riskier" is a pejorative one. The flip side of that is to say that Obama would usher in the most change, etc. Ford is an old pro, and he should damn well know better.

13. Since when is such a clearly-identifiable OPINION based on an unknown FUTURE "100% correct"?

6. How much cash do you think we'd have to give them?

Ford is limited by cranial capacity. He's the political equivalent of Mika Brzezinski, the media ditz.

7. Fuck that they can just have him
After the campaign they ran against him in TN and his failure to stand up for Obama I scratch my head every time he's on TV.

15. Ford is Just Being a Realist
In a sense Obama is a challenger. He isn't as well known. Obama himself agreed with this a few days ago when he said voters were going to have to kick the tires. This is just the way elections are. Kennedy, McGovern, Carter, Reagan, Dukakis. Clinton, Bush 2 all faced the task of convincing voters that they could be President. Some were able to do this and some did not.

17. The people that hear him on the Tee Bee don't hear that.
They hear 'risky' and think there's something to lose with him in office.

16. as the dlc leader you would think that he would be supportive of
our nominee. he gives lukewarm if any support to obama. dean is out on tour supporting down ticket dems and obama all over the south-getting heckled by "hill supporters" and ford is supporting himself all over msnbc. is the dlc even part of the party anymore?
