McCain should consider himself lucky he doesn't have the same scrutiny as Obama on his tour
I've thought about how McCain is whining like a spoiled brat about how much attention Obama is getting with his World Tour. Obama has succeeded so far with flying colors and CAN handle the pressure of the scrutiny on him in his travels, which seem nearly impossible for most humans to be able to handle.

McCain, on the other hand, is a walking talking gaffe machine. We've seen the list of just recent episodes where he clearly is not up to snuff. (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0708/11939.html) Even Katie Couric is now covering up his ass with mistakes for what ever her apparent flavor of journalism entails.

Imagine if the corporate media was scrutinizing McCain with the same level of scrutiny. He would have dropped out by now. For him to whine about Obama's coverage is simply another example of someone who doesn't get it. It's absolutely pitiful how McCain's recent statement about how Obama would "rather lose a war to win an election" has shown his downward level of discourse. The gaffes continue to pile up WITHOUT any reasonable media scrutiny or fairness.

Does McCain really want the media sharks to follow him more? They may have no other choice than to do their job.

1. If you want an idea of how bad the media is regarding McCain
Even Bush criticized the treatment of McCain back in 2000 - when McCain making a gaffe was hardly news, but it did make the news when Bush didn't know a certain world leader.

3. The media is assuming we have a memory recall of two weeks
Two weeks ago, the media was still covering up for McCain's many gaffes. Either they are too stupid to read a news story off the wire or they are continuing to give McCain a free pass.

2. Excellent point, zulch! Rec'd~
This needs to be on the Greatest Page not the 2nd page.

What was mccain's thing when he went to Iraq? He said how safe it was when a market got bombed and he was protected by a circle of soldiers and armor?
