1. FANTASTIC
I am a Nevada resident and he's got my vote as well as my husband and our friends!! In fact I live in Henderson,Nevada(suburb city in Las Vegas)and my entire neighborhood is filled with Obama signs in the living room windows. It's very good to see the signs when I drive through. I have yet to see even 1 McCain sign, bumper sticker or McCain anything. What I have seen is a lot of McCain commercials and I have to mute them every time they come on because they are just icky to listen to.

3. Makes sense
I live in Henderson also. The other day, in a thread listing McCain ahead by 3 in Nevada, I posted that didn't jive, since Nevada is hardly 5 or 6 points more red than the nation. In 2004 the partisan index was slightly blue. I wouldn't rely on that this time, but if Obama leads nationally by 4-6 points then he certainly leads narrowly in Nevada.

This really isn't complicated. The states will naturally fall in line with their recent partisan tendencies. State polls lag national polls, and national polls are where you want to look for the truest indication of where the race stands, and where the states and therefore the electoral votes are likely to fall.
