Obama's new ad -

I like it, just wish the announcer's voice was a bit stronger.

Thoughts? Do you think this will connect with voters that are concerned about him as 'commander-in-chief'?

1. Just Connects
The same old politics and promises of all elections past from all candidates in all parties. Nothing really new.

3. Other than Kerry, WHO exactly made loose nukes a campaign issue?

2. That is an awesome ad. I like the emphasis on a "new and changing world"
Gramps can't keep up with that.

4. If it was meant to be reassuringly dull
then it had the desired effect.

5. Yeah - that's kinda what I was saying about the announcer's voice.
They should have Arianna Huffington be the announcer - that would definitely get people to listen :P

It's a serious ad with a boring voice.

7. A great ad
and reframe of the 'national security' argument to his advantage.

Imo, the tenor of the narrators voice is meant to reassure.

8. I like it
It is calm and reassuring yet stresses the real threats that face us. I like the way the ad ties our dependence on foreign oil with our security.
