5. This kind of stuff is why I quit the peace movement in the 90's
They would never do anything except have seminars and go to the local bomb factory to sing Lennon songs.

6. Yeah, very true. I went back to college late in my 20s and had
done lots of activism in the meantime.

I got involved with the women's groups, environmental, etc but always felt out of place since I was a big union backer, had been in the work force and (I confess) am ambivalent about John Lennon!

(The Lennon thing is just between you ;n me, okay? Cant risk losing cred!) :rofl:

It was just kind of sad because that's all we would do is sing "Give Peace a Chance" over and over again.
