Accept my apology in advance if this seems somehow bigoted.

21. She claimed that only 50% of those interned were Japanese,
Italians and Germans made up the other 50%. The Italians and Germans received no reparations however.

7. more importantly for me, what's her immigration background?
Did she immigrate to the U.S. (i.e. born abroad) or is she second generation or greater? What was the basis for her family's orginal immigrant petition (work, lottery, family basis, refugee, political asylum, amnesty) whenever it was that she or her family originally came here???

20. I'm not interested in why her parents came here -- only how they came
In other words, through what means. Malkin seems virulently anti-immigrant. It would be interesting to know by what basis her parents were allowed to immigrate. As you know, there are several categories of immigration: diversity (lottery), employment basis, family basis, refugee, asylee, illegal but given amnesty, etc. I would just be interested in knowing if her parents came under one of the programs that have been criticized by the right wing.

17. why does everybody has to know the country of origin of Asians?
Just curious. If we see somebody of African descent, do we ask them if they're from Nigeria, Kenya or Liberia? If we see somebody from Latin America, do we ask them if they're from Puerto Rico or Mexico?

I don't think it's a big deal, but just am wondering why.

19. It's like this
I worked in a screen-printing shop in NYC. 75 per cent spanish speaking--but half of the spanish speakers would rag constantly about shiftless Puerto Ricans. It turns out they were Argentinians.

Similarly, you can be around a bunch of people of Slavic background and hear the most savage Polack jokes imaginable--if the folks are ethnic Russian.

When you've got an Asian woman defending the internment of Japanese, it's relevant to know whether it's self-ethnic-hatred or something else.

22. Malkin should spend a day at the Japanese American National Museum...
in Los Angeles.
http://www.janm.org/
Common Ground: The Heart of Community-- Ongoing Exhibit
Incorporating hundreds of objects, documents and photographs collected by the National Museum, this exhibition chronicles 130 years of Japanese American history, beginning with the early days of the Issei pioneers through the World War II incarceration to the present. Among the notable artifacts on display is a Heart Mountain barracks, an original structure saved and preserved from the concentration camp in Wyoming.

It takes a lot to move me these days, but a couple of weeks ago, my wife and I visited the JANM. When I saw the Heart Mountain barracks, I just started to cry, and had to put on my sunglasses. It is astonishing and heartbreaking to actually see something like that in person.

Our internment of the Japanese doesn't justify the barbarous treatment of Filipinos by the Japanese during World War 2...

34. You see, it's like cooking...
Michelle Malkin -- Serves 100,000 right-wing idiots

6 Cups of Ann Coulter stock

2 Cups Dried Bone powder from John Wilkes Booth's grave

1 Cup of Stalin's dried brain matter

1/4 cup of Hitler's ashes

2 Tablespoons of Ted Bundy's brain matter (wet)

1 Tablespoon of Bob Novak's urine

2 teaspoons of Tucker Carlson's back hair (ground into a fine powder)

1 teaspoon of Charles Manson's blood (dried works best)

1/4 teaspoon of Sean Hannity's semen (this is extremely difficult to get -- use a toned, muscular late teens young man wearing only a pair of biker shorts. Once Hannity has been successfully "seduced", it may take several attempts to get the appropriate amount for the recipe.

1/4 teaspoon of salt

Bring Ann Coulter stock to a rolling boil, then add dry ingredients. Turn heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes. Then add Ted Bundy's brain matter, Novak's urine, and Hannity's semen.

Stare deeply into the pot. When the foaming mouth that forms begins to spew forth non-sensical sentences, put the lid on and simmer for another ten minutes. After ten minutes, the contents should be completely incapable of ever making a cogent argument that would sway most people above the age of 3.
