Anybody got a spare $15 million?
Denver faces fundraising deadline for convention

DENVER (AP) - The host committee for the Democratic National Convention is facing a possible shortfall of $15 million on the day of the fundraising deadline.

The committee is under contract with the Democratic National Committee to raise $40.6 million by midnight Monday to finance the event.

Last month, the host committee said it had just $25 million in cash, and it has failed to meet most of its previous fundraising deadlines.

A shortfall would complicate logistics for the Aug. 25-28 convention.

The cash problem already has forced the host committee to cancel 24 welcoming parties and to postpone a media walkthrough of the site scheduled for next week.

I blame this on the "extended" primary battle.

2. No, it is probably the effect of the drawn out primary
The individual donors gave a lot of money to both Hillary and Obama and they are tapped out.

It is hard to sell giving money to the convention when you are still in the middle of a hard fought primary and people are giving what money they can afford to their candidate.

3. You really cannot let go, right?
Such hypocrisy. You, Obama supporters, have been saying that this is over yet, as I predicted, you need to continue pour your bile on Hillary. I guess not hating her may make you question your purpose in life.
