Nader campaign event draws big crowd
MANCHESTER – Just 15 people turned out for a lunchtime chat at the Merrimack Restaurant with Ralph Nader yesterday, but the independent presidential candidate wasn't disappointed.

Small-group meetings of thoughtful people who discuss serious issues in detail can build upon themselves and create a political force, said Nader, who has run for President several times under several banners.

"The issue is, how much do we win every year so we can break through and win more and more," he said.

1. And...the 15 minutes are officially over as a Presidential candidate.
I don't want to denigrate the man in terms of what he's been saying...about corporate control of the media and electoral reform. But as a Presidential candidate, he wore out his welcome some time ago.

2. Didn't he say he'd run only if Hillary became the nominee?
Maybe he's running because she will enter as an independent...

Shows how much the Clinton/Obama stories are drowning him out.

4. Good point
Nader just isn't relevant anymore. Obama is infinitely "cleaner" when it comes to financial contributions than Nader has ever been.
