That corresponds; he carried my county by 46 votes.

3. Obama has an uphill battle in all the big electoral states
He can't do it without Clinton's supporters. I hope he's up to the challenge and has a different plan for the GE.

4. The blue stats from 04 are already in Obama's camp
The only one that shows McCain currently ahead is Michigan. As of now Obama stands to pick up VA, CO, IA, MO, NM, OH. Also with Barr getting some traction in recent polls, things might change in a few southern states (NC/GA) in the coming months

5. Its a tossup in the key battleground states
OH, MO, MI, VA, WI and FL is leaning McCain.

Obama is ahead in the electoral count, but most are only "leaning" Obama.

Keep in mind, the GOP hasn't really started campaigning against him yet.

6. Obama hasn't really started going after McCain either
Theres a stark contrast in the policy differences between the two. Whereas the differences between Hillary and Obama were fairly small by comparison
