The fact we had a female and an African American compete to be our nominee IS CHANGE!
And I am inspired,...in spite of all the ugly crap I see here and on teevee ne/views.

From the beginning of the primary race, I felt confident that ANY SINGLE ONE of those running would be a 1000% better than what we've had to swallow the last 7 years. In spite of all the ugly crap I've seen here and on teevee ne/views, what I ultimately witnessed during this primary season was the spectacle of democracy, real live democracy, at work,....THE PEOPLE invigorated and more active than ever in participating in their own destinies, diverse opinions and concerns openly expressed.

I believe the possibility of a more "democratic" direction is greater than ever. For me, an Obama/Clinton ticket would be, just, incredible. The vision of an African American and a woman serving as President and Vice-President of the USA causes me to imagine the whole world celebrating our FIRST executive not dominated by white men (no offense to them,...they've just had 'the power' our whole existence,...and diversity is GOOD,...RIGHT?)!!!

But, no matter what, I not only believe but 'know' these two final competitors for our nomination will BOTH make a difference,...on all our lives,...in a distinctly positive way,...at the fret and fury of old republican corporacrats.

At any rate, I feel confident THE PEOPLE will unite against further economic and social oppression. Denial is a means to escape reality until survival is threatened. The survival of this nation, as a whole and on a personal level is being threatened. Only those most fringe vulnerables will continue to follow those who preach outside actual practices. Thankfully, those aweful 'liberals' and 'progressives' PRACTICED compassion, instituting education for all this nation's people, and provided opportunities for Americans to share information and explore solutions. It's unfortunate our government has chosen to invest hundreds of billions into a war of profit in the Middle East rather than a real war for democracy. Hmpf,...that's another discussion,...yet, spills into this on because the ROBBERS ARE BACK! The corporatocracy is strangling US.

The corporatocracy will fail and fall because it/they have proven to ALL THE PEOPLE its/their willingness to sell the soul of this nation, one American at a time, without remorse. They are losing their foothold in the various carriages of manipulation: media, religion, race, gender. HAH!!!

Of course, we can expect those obsessed with power and profit will continue to do ANYTHING within their realm of power,...to keep it. They'll pay ten thousand needy and/or vulnerable citizens to make calls and reports and posts to incite division among us. Division is the ONLY WAY the obsessive power-mongers CAN CONTROL MASSES, any masses, including ours. These people aren't merely 'win at all cost', they are hugely invested in the 'manipulate, oppress and deceive' industry. The authoritarians and dictators and fascists and nazis have all done it. Ours are no different.

So, well,...I am asking,...listen to the BEST of your humanity while simultaneously rejecting your temptation to be drawn into anger and divisiveness, cynicism and isolation, fear and selfishness. Listen to the BEST of your humanity. The BEST of your humanity advocates justice without either vengeance or mass punishment. The BEST of your humanity advocates OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL PEOPLE. The BEST of your humanity believes equality SERVES true democracy. The BEST of your humanity stands firm on the concept that our progress is dependent upon enforcement of JUST laws,...no exceptions apply. The BEST of your humanity embraces diversity as the MEANS towards progress. The BEST of your humanity KNOWS violence and oppression, whether physical or psychological or religious/spiritual or otherwise, IS ANTI-DEMOCRACY and ANTI-CIVIL and ANTI-FREEDOM, ANTI-PROGRESS and ANTI-COMPASSION,...and ANTI- the better of what we are capable.

Okay. I've said what I needed to say.

Thanks for reading.

Let's go forward, please, together. We're better off,...that way.

:hi:

2. That's a confusing response considering their platforms differ just on details.

What "change" is beating out the other, specifically?

4. I don't understand the distinction in tems of positions. Both are for equality.

The CHANGE I emphasize is that BOTH are different from what has been,...caucasian males,....but ALSO THEIR POSITIONS. And, frankly, BOTH OF THEIR POSITIONS ARE FAR MORE PRO-DEMOCRACY (not only abroad but also in our own nation) than all present *LOL* competitors for the presidency.

My question is WHY YOU EMPHASIZE the differences rather than the similarities between these two people? They are BOTH minorities who HAVE NEVER SERVED AS PRESIDENT. They have BOTH served democratic PUBLIC INTERESTS and been torn to pieces for doing so. They have BOTH been UNJUSTLY PERSECUTED for the actions of others (to the point of absolute nausea). They are BOTH worldly and intelligent (and condemned by the neo-fascists as 'elite' for their exposure). They are BOTH willing to suffer and ENDURE the SICK PROFITEERING SHIT slung at them,...for causes greater than their own interests (yeah, yeah,...I know all the cynical pundit shrilling will be imposed,...far worse than on shitheads like Limbaugh and Coulter and those freaks,...but, oh, well).

NOW,...

,...I ASK YOU,...

SPECIFICALLY,...

What change, between the two, is worse?

Will you answer that?

Which of these two, in terms of change, IS SO MUCH WORSE FROM WHAT WE HAVE NOW?

On edit: I HAVE TO ASK,...what is YOUR INTEREST in IMPOSING the division between race and gender? I mean, there HAS TO BE SOME REWARD for you to do so,...whether personal or professional. Why IMPOSE a divide, any divide? Just wondering.

5. Come back! Wouldn't EITHER promote change for the better of ALL OF US?
Especially compared to what we've RECEIVED the last seven plus years,...
