On the End of the Primaries: Unity and appeasement
Along time ago I started putting Hillary supporters on ignore. I was not buying their arguments and thought if they were on ignore that it would make things more peaceful - if I don't read their posts I won't argue with them. I have just, as my first and only act of trying to achieve unity taken them off of ignore (as I understand that some of them have since switched to Obama anyway.)

However, from this point on, if there are further statements about how Hillary really won, about how she was cheated, about voting for McCain over Obama I will put them on ignore and leave them there.

I will make no attempts at appeasement, or 'reconciliation' it would be a waste of time. I'm not going to take abuse from Hillary supporters in the hope that they will see the light. I'm not going to beg people who will never vote for Obama anyway (for whatever reason).

Those who will not get behind the Democratic Canadidate for President are not Democrats. If they vote for McCain it is because they are Republicans. If they won't vote for Obama because of his race (or his middle name) then they don't belong in the Democratic party anyway and the Republicans are welcome to them.

Hillary was not cheated, she lost. She was not treated badly - claiming that Hillary was somehow a victim in this process is like claiming that the US has been the victim of Iraqi aggression.

The primary, as far as I'm concerned is over. I'm not going to talk about it anymore. I'm going to do my best to ignore any further antics by Hillary's team.

Hillary supporters have a choice to make. They can vote for a continued war in Iraq, further economic hardship, the continuation of the erosion of civil liberties, a likely war in Iran, and continued deception, lies, crimes and cover up at the highest levels of the US government

OR

They can choose to believe that those who have been their allies for many years on many issues on this board (and across the country) know what they are doing and have made the right decision and vote for change.

It is their choice to make. I'm not going to beg them, to console them, or appease them in any way - but if they choose to continue the Bush administration I'll have nothing further to say to them and regardless of whether Skinner chooses to tombstone them - I'll add them to my personal TS list and leave them there.
