Description: Vice-Presidential Candidate John Edwards is to be in Atlanta for a Kerry/Edwards Campaign Rally on Monday, August 16th. It is a public event. We want a huge turnout, to make a major statement to the whole country that Georgia is Kerry/Edwards Country!! Directions: From Downtown or N. Atlanta: Take I-85 South. Exit Camp Creek Pkway (exit #72) Follow signs for Camp Creek Pkway; after on CCP, at first traffic light, turn left into the Gateway Center. The Convention Center will be on the right.

1. I'm impressed that Kerry isn't ignoring Georgia

One way to help turnout is to have Georgia's favorite son, President Jimmy Carter, at the rally. In 1980, even as he was losing nationally he easily won Georgia with 57% of the vote.
