Comforting to know that some of the lunatics we saw today had to pay extra to stay and make fools out of themselves!

The ballroom is far emptier than it was nine hours ago. The Rules committee is still meeting privately. Michigan is the sticking point, by all accounts.

A woman in an "Every Vote Counts" T-shirt, a Hillary supporter, comes over and asks if I'm blogging. She's ticked. The committee said they'd come back at 4:15. It's now 6.

"You should blog this," she says. "It's totally disrespectful to the people here, whether they're Obama or Hillary."

Her name is Alice Rickel. She's a lawyer from Cleveland. People came from all over the country to watch this meeting, she says. One group just left because they've got to pay $100 for each extra hour they keep the bus driver.

When has she paid for anything....upfront, that is. The bus companies probably would not take her IOU's so her followers had to pay up.

everyone paid their own way, organized the trip themselves. Some drove their own cars. This was a true grassroots effort.

Apparently the Obama supporters were too busy playing hacky-sack or getting some sun at the beach.

8. Obama people were probably back in the upcoming primary election states going real grassroots
While the batshit crazy HRC'ers were in DC making video clips that now have them being the laughing stock of the 'Net...yessirry, them HRC'ers did their leader proud today. I'm sure HRC will be on all the morning talk shows thanking them personally for showing up. Maybe she can do a split screen appearance with Harriet!!

Sometimes I think you are one of Hillary's best and brightest. Sometimes I think you are one of Rush's agitators. If you love Hillary, I understand that today, given (almost) the best outcome she could have hoped for and. realizing that it wouldn't be enough. would be hard.

Tomorrow is a new day. I hope it is better for you.

I still love Hillary. I think she is a marvelous woman and nothing that she has achieved can be taken from her, certainly not by me. I understand why you are passionate for her. I "get" how hurtful it is to come so close and still not win is a bitter, bitter pill. What I don't understand is how it will be better if McCain takes the prize at the end of it all. I don't even know if that is your stance, but it seems to be the stance of many of those who truly love Hillary. Doesn't that work counter to everything that your candidate wants to achieve?
