What is Kerry thinking taking a vacation now?

I understand that he should take a little time to regroup. Maybe a week. But as I recall, Dukakis took a vacation in 1988 while he was way ahead of The elder Bush. Then he got attacked to the point of getting spanked while he was on vacation. I don't like this.

I'm often amazed at how much pressure these guys are under and taking some time off is understandable. He may take a few days or whatever off, but his people aren't.

The only time he makes mistakes is when he's been running hard for several weeks in a row. It's time. I haven't read about a vacation. Is he taking off the weekend?

He will be in Cincinatti next week as well as Charlotte NC on Friday.
