Scotty the mouthpiece. Why now?
I am trying to figure out why now. After watching his interview with KO, which was done very well I must say by Mr.K, I just have this feeling that somehow there is more to this than meets the eye.

This is just too convenient.

10. I'm not sure, but the best lie is the one closest to the truth...

so he spills his guts just before the election. Then the republicans running have a baseline of "Scotty facts" from of all people the press secretary of the WH. Then they can use this book as a baseline of keeping lies within the constructs of what Scotty has provided.

8. The Republicans are not going to direct a former press secretary to
write a book accusing them of manipulating the public through propaganda to the detriment of American democracy. Especially not during an election year.

5. Why not? He left, took a breather, wrote a book, and now he's cashing in before Bush is old news.

6. He's pretty much been the only Bush WH spokesman with half a conscience.
Granted, he was pretty heinous in his day, but you could tell he wasn't all that proud of what he was doing. Being that it is next to impossible for a Republican to even have an iota of a conscience, I'm going to give the guy some credit.

9. He was awful, but he obviously didn't like having to outright lie. He just ducked questions
over and over again, until it became so embarrassing to watch him they had to can him.

14. It's just too convenient, and too good to be true that he would turn on his masters.
