I really wish we could focus on his BS, and the Republican slime machine.

Please check this thread for more proof of his negative ROVE campaign:

You know Rove, W, Cheney, and all those Republican assholes are going to do whatever it takes to keep our candidate out of the WH. There are way too many crimes they have committed that are going to be brought to light by Obama if he becomes President. Let's attack the Republican shit-slinging machine, work to get Democratic voters registered for the GE, and kick the ROVE/Bush/McCain/Cheney machine to the curb once and for all.

It is no longer Obama vs. Hillary, it is the Democrats vs. the Republicans!

1. McCain suffered more than any of us could ever imagination.
For that we honor him as we should. However, he should use some of that courage to honorably
disqualify himself for the office of President. Otherwise, the American people will have to do that
for him.

5. I agree. But we need a competent president, more now than ever in my lifetime.
And that is where he fails.

7. I don't respect John McCain.
and I don't "honor" his service either. He signed on for this war and now he wants to send more men and women into Iran for absolutely no fucking reason. HE does not honor this country, its military, or our soldier's families. Many men and women have DIED in Iraq. At least he was lucky to come home with a messed up arm. I bet thousands of dead soldiers wish they were in his place. So, no, I don't respect him and I don't respect his service in the military. He is a turncoat and has neglected to uphold the Constitution of this country. Forget.Him.

say the least. The man does not like to be asked difficult questions, i.e., regarding his mistake in stating that "We have drawn down to pre-surge levels."

http://blog.washingtonpost.com/the-trail/2008/05/30/mccain_asserts_return_to_presu.html

"We have drawn down to pre-surge levels. Basra, Mosul and now Sadr city are quiet and it's long and it's hard and it's tough and there will be setbacks."

In fact, as the Obama campaign was quick to point out, the troop level in Iraq is at about 155,000 right now, well above the 130,000 that would mark a return to pre-surge levels. The goal, according to a transcript of a news briefing with Joint Staff director for operations Lt. Gen. Carter Ham at the end of February, is to reduce troop levels to 140,000 -- still above the pre-surge levels.
