I was on an archaeological dig in Northern Louisiana. Had just turned 21, going to school in New Orleans, born in Florida. Did not know how to register in FL or LA, especially Northern Louisiana. Being a student with no permanent residence yet, did not think it was an issue, besides, who in their right mind would vote for Nixon?!!1!! No way could he win! Well I learned my lesson and the next election I was a delegate for McGovern. This election, Obama is seeing to it that the young people are getting registered and are aware of the dangers of a McCain presidency. I think there will be a huge tidal wave of Dem voters out there.
