What has Hillary done to deserve the benefit of the doubt?
Edited on Sat May-24-08 11:31 AM by senseandsensibility
When, during this campaign, has she resisted a cheap shot, taken the high road, or shown moral courage?

In addition, when Obama made a verbal gaffe, she pounced with glee. But for Hillary, that was nothing new. She also pounced on John Kerry's poorly contstructed joke about soldiers, helping to end his 2008 candidacy. Everyone knew that John Kerry would give his life for his fellow soldiers, yet Hillary threw him overboard. Now she wants a pass from her fellow Dems.

I don't think she deserves a pass She has done nothing during this campaign to earn it. It's as simple as that.

3. I have raised this point myself. It's not like she has a body of great service
to either the Country or the Democratic party, to back her up.

And probably asked to resign his Senate seat, which is exactly what I'm calling Clinton's Senate offices monday to demand of her.

11. If she ran a positive campaign this wouldnt be happening to her
But she ran a campaign of exploiting every single thing Obama said and going on Fox News to trash Obama. No thanks, she reaps what she sowed. No forgiveness.

17. Now you know why her lie about "ducking sniper fire" was so offensive to the rest of us
Veterans who actually have ducked sniper fire!!

There is no benefit of the doubt for me.
She's way beyond it.

Maybe her "hard working Americans, white hard working American" supporters are more biased than they thought.

campaign. Look at her IWR vote, her failure to speak out against the Iraq war before it became politically expedient to do so (just before her POTUS campaign), her sidling up to John Kerry's joke/gaffe detractors...

She is a craven, narcissistic, sociopathic power junkie.

22. Yes, it's a serious character flaw
That's when I noticed it, too. It will continue to show througout her political life. Some of the incidents will be trivial, but as with her IRW vote, many will not. We don't need this in a President or a candidate.

26. Nothing.
She's the queen of piling on, taking cheap shots, and playing the victim card.

Hillary is out for herself. Period.

The time for cutting her slack came and went.
