I'll admit, Obama is a little inexperienced.......
But the inexperience part is why WE NEED HIM. I don't think experience helps in Washintgon. It just makes you cynical and a clone of the others.

McCain and Clinton, same people, different chairs!

If experience was important then Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld should have been the best team in history. But they were the worse.

I am tired of old school Washington politics. Obama is a young man who is not tainted by old school Washington!

Hillary is as old school as you can get. Totally 100% Washington politics. Nothing new from her.

We need Obama to change this country.

1. Yeah. I've had about all I can take of "experience"...
...which seems to guarantee only that a candidate can keep plodding along in the same old bad habits that got us where we are today. I think that the best thing about him is that Washington's only had a few years to train him. If we really wish, we can train him better. I hope, audaciously.

According to your own lights, you should me breaking out the champagne, not kvetching about Hillary's incredible experience. And you say Hillary can't let go!

3. Obama has more experience in elected office than Hillary.
Hillary's first elected office was her seat in the U.S. Senate. Obama has his Senate seat, plus a decade of service in the Illinois Senate doing things like combating the death penalty, making a law requiring police interrogations to be videotaped, curbing abuse, etc.

Being First Lady means you get to watch a few things, but you don't have much in the way of responsibilities or duties - you just get to go to state dinners and mingle with the bigwigs. Granted, she was given the duty of coming up with a universal health care plan in the 90's, but she botched it, stepping on a lot of toes in Congress, making a big stink, and coming up with a plan that was rejected, and alienated a lot of people contributing to the Democrats losing Congress in 94.

Obama's experience is far superior to Hillary's.

5. How much experience did JFK have?
In 1961 when Kennedy said we would put an American safely on the Moon within 10 years... how much experience did he personally have in putting people on the Moon?

What I'm getting at is -- which is most important in a Leader: The ability to inspire and provide direction, or "experience"?
