Comparing Obama supporters to an abusive husband...
Edited on Sun May-18-08 07:11 PM by iamthebandfanman
If I ever see another post by hillary supporters claiming the actions of obama people to that of an abusive husband trying to make up for hitting his wife, im going to lose my fucking mind.

that is not cool.

how dare someone make lite of such a serious subject as spousal abuse. you should be ashamed. it makes me sick.

hillary supporters should go tell this poster just how sick of a comparison it is as well. i wont tolerate that kinda shit and neither should anybody else.

"Like reprogrammed computers the Obamanation has changed from dishing out a barrage of insults to dishing out a barrage of olive branches.
It is both repulsive and hilarious.
It is like the violent husband sucking up to his abused spouse "

it is NOTHING like that.

i hafta go logoff for a bit and cool down after seeing that BS.

1. Most Clinton Supporters are reasonable people
some aren't and are looking for something to blame for the loss.

7. Yep
I expect some of them will committ DU suicide with some very offensive things but nothing you can do about it.

In about 3 months they'll have regret what they did.

8. It doesn't seem anything is beneath some folks ... they'll try to exploit anything.
It borders on the psychotic, imho.

10. Portland News at 5 covered Hillary's "Sweetie" Protesters at the Obama Rally. Now, THAT
was strange. Carrying signs that said "MY NAME'S NOT SWEETIE". Quite the martyrs they are.

12. Women call me "sweetie", "honey", or "dearie" ...
...every so often. Is it appropriate? - no, but they mean no disrespect or harm. Best to just let it fall. Politeness helps, but faux outrage doesn't.

14. It's exceedingly strange that they'd go so far as to prove they're anything but "sweeties."
It must be nice to live a life so free of hardship and risk that THAT gets them out protesting. Millions dead in the Middle East, loss of habeas corpus, torture on the taxpayer's dime, and a litany of atrocities that should gag a maggot ... and they express indignation that a reporter (who SAID it didn't bother her) was called "sweetie"???

That's just insane. :puke:

13. Did you think all the posts suggesting Hillary (if VP) would have Obama killed were okay?
This is a Democratic candidate getting about as many votes as Obama.

A former first lady.

One of the most admired women in the country, and the world.

And I saw post after post by Obama supporters here either joking or stating with lunatic seriousness that she couldn't be risked as VP because she'd have Obama killed.

Do you have ANY idea what it's like to read that sort of garbage about your candidate day after day?

Every single Obama supporter here who posted messages like that should have been tombstoned.

17. My Suggestion To You
Use the search function to pick a random day during the first week of January and search on "hillary" and search on "obama" and look closely at how people plugging or criticizing - but for criticism, especially look for the reasoned criticisms - and how the people posting them are treated.

Then do the same thing for a random day about two weeks later. And two weeks after that. And two weeks after that.

When it comes to HC, the pattern looks like: OP is started, OP writer is heavily criticized or flamed by an Obama poster, then someone comes in and calls that poster on their behavior, and from there the whole thread devolves to a point where it's utterly useless to even attempt to continue the discussion.

Over and over, and over again.
