Hillary Clinton's excellent adventures in West Virginia
Edited on Wed May-14-08 11:26 AM by Obamamaniac_25
LOL. Hillarious. Waving to non-existent supporters:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/05/13/AR2008051302862.html

2:57 p.m., Yeager Airport, Charleston, W.Va.: A steep descent brings Clinton's plane to Charleston's hilltop airport. After an appropriate wait, she steps from the plane and pretends to wave to a crowd of supporters; in fact, she is waving to 10 photographers underneath the airplane's wing. She pretends to spot an old friend in the crowd, points and gives another wave; in fact, she is waving at an aide she had been talking with on the plane minutes earlier.

1. This is an old trick
in April 1974 Richard Nixon made an appearence at the opening of the World's Fair in Spokane. It was to be his last public appearence before resigning in August.

We had about 5000 demonstrators screeming our guts out as he left the appearence and went for the car. He stopped and waved, gave us the thumbs up and threw his arms in the air like we were his biggest supporters. It caught us unaware for a second, we went quiet before resuming our screams.

On the news it looked like he was waving to an appreciative crowd.

2. Her campaign now is bordering on perpetrating a fraud on her remaing supporters
She's gone out of her way to convince them she will still win, but its duplicitous as she knows the truth, she just wants them to become so disillusioned after she drops out they wont vote for Obama because they'll believe he somehow "stole" the nomination from her.
