9. Clinton was great.
The guy knows how to give a speech and work the crowd. For better or worse, he makes some of the other people who we are supposed to be paying attention to look like weak sisters.

So I guess you could look at it either way. Clinton did a great job talking about the Democrat Party, which helps sell the party. But he also detracts from many of the other people by comparison, and may hinder selling specific candidates. From a PR perspective, Kerry is no Clinton.

Just my US$0.02
